Nanya Technology Corporation was founded on March 4, 1995. The company conducts research and development, design, manufacturing, and sales of DRAM products, with worldwide sales offices in USA , Europe, Japan and China . The main shareholder is Nanya Plastics Corporations of the Formosa Plastics Group. In 2006, the company achieved USD 2,311 million in revenue, 51% growth compared with the previous year. Our company currently owns two 8-inch fabrications, located in Nan Kan and Hwa Ya Technology Park, Taoyuan County. The company’s 12-inch fabrication, located in Taishan, Taipei County, is planned to be in production in the fourth quarter of 2007 using 70nm technology. The maximum monthly capacity is at 62,000 wafers. Nanya signed a Joint Development agreement with Infineon Technologies AG to co-develop 70nm and 90nm process technology and to form a Joint Venture, Inotera Memories Inc. in December, 2002, enabling Nanya to become one of the most competitive DRAM suppliers in the world. Inotera currently produces 12-inch wafers to Nanya and Qimonda, using 90nm technology. In September 2005, Nanya expanded the development cooperation with Infineon by signing an agreement of joint-developing advanced 60nm process technology. The strategic partnership will greatly enhance this camps competitiveness in the highly dynamic DRAM industry.
